Members of the Santa Teresa Junior Golf Club YOC have access to a number of different Tournament, and League activities.
Santa Teresa Junior Golf Club Monthly Tournament Series - The Monthly Tournament Series is an 11 month Tournament Series from January through November.
Monthly Tournaments are played on the Santa Teresa Short Course for all four flights (Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner A, and Beginner B), with the exception of the June and July events, which are held on the Championship Course for Advanced and Intermediate flight players.
Events are mostly nine-hole stroke play competitions, with Event awards, and points accumulated throughout the season toward the season ending trophy awards for points champions in the flights. A player's flight is determined by their average score for nine holes on the Short Course.
Examples of recommended flight scores: Advanced players - even par or better (27 or less), Intermediate players - 3 over par to under par (26-30), Beginner A players - 5 over par to 1 over par (28-32), Beginner B players - 6 over par or higher (33+).
Invitations are emailed to members 14 days prior to each event. All registration and payment ($27.00) are completed online by responding to email invitations.
Santa Teresa 13U PGA Junior League Golf - The Santa Teresa PGA Junior League program is a Home league with all regular season matches played at Santa Teresa Golf Club on the Championship Course. We ask that STJGC members who are 13 or under up to August 1, 2026, and have participated in Little League for Golf and, or The Monthly Tournament series, prior to participating in PGA Junior League. The Santa Teresa PGA Junior League program is a Home league with all regular season matches played at Santa Teresa Golf Club on the Championship Course. We ask that STJGC members who are 17 or under up to August 1, 2026, and have participated in Little League for Golf and, or The Monthly Tournament series, prior to participating in PGA Junior League. Santa Teresa Ten to Teen Fall Winter Development Program - The Ten to Teen program is designed to train junior golfers from 10 years old to 15 years old in the scoring shotsscoring skills needed to lower scores. Learn to master our short course with skills and drills presented each session for your development.
